Over the course of nearly two decades of DJ-Kicks, we're always hearing which entries in the series stand out as favorites. And surprisingly, we get a wide variety of answers. From the sleek techno of the series' beginning (C.J. Bolland, Carl Craig) to the smoked-out sounds of late-90s mixes from Nightmares on Wax and Kid Loco, to recent mixes from rising stars like Maya Jane Coles and Motor City Drum Ensemble, everyone seems to have a few favorites that sit on the top of the heap.
With new entries on the way from John Talabot and Breach, we thought we'd put the vote to you, and offer the top five DJ-Kicks as chosen by the fans for a special price on the !K7 store. Hercules And Love Affair To Mix New DJ-Kicks
It's official. After an epic year full of amazing mixes, Hercules And Love Affair will be mixing the last DJ-Kicks of 2012. And what a way to go out. Drawing inspiration from his earliest experiences at warehouse parties, the classic sound of 90's house, and even the unique spirituality of the nightclubbing experience, front man Andy Butler has created a timeless mix that pulses with energy and excitement. Hercules And Love Affair's DJ-Kicks will be released October 29th on CD, vinyl, and digital download. Tracklist below.

Motor City Drum Ensemble- L.O.V.E.
WOW. We're really blown away by the exclusive track Danilo put together for his amazing Motor City Drum Ensemble mix, and judging by the response on Soundcloud, we're not the only ones! L.O.V.E. is out now as a digital single backed with his "Basement" version, with an extra special remix package on the way featuring mixes from some amazing artists we're not going to share just yet ;). DJ-Kicks drops July 5th, "L.O.V.E." is out now on Beatport.
